Interests

 

Martial Arts – Hold two black belts, one in Chishin-Ryu Karate-do and the other in Yoshin-Shinto-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu.  Bronze medalist in self-defense at an open art, international tournament in Amsterdam in 1998 (300 competitors).  Help teach and organize the adult and children classes.  Given seminars in Amsterdam, Atlanta, San Fransisco, Philadelphia, Denver, and Durham, NC.

 

Ultimate Frisbee – Competed in the Atlanta Ultimate League for 7 years.  Was a member of the league championship team in 1999 and competed in the Georgia Games in 1998.  Specialize in playing middie. 

 

Cooking –Some favorite dishes to cook: Greens tossed with Shrimp and Scallop dressing, Cream of Roasted Red Bell Pepper Soup, Yeasty Parkerhouse Rolls, Grilled Seabass marinated in Lime and Cilantro, 회덥밥 (hwe dup bab, Korean Sashimi Salad), Blueberry Tartlets with vanilla ice cream, fresh margaritas.  I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and inviting and feeding my friends over for food, drink, and conversation.
